I'm not a big fan of green flowers. To me, leaves are supposed to be green and flowers some other color. Last year I wanted a really white, big flowered plant and chose the White Wedding zinnia. It turned out not to be that perfect white I was looking for - in fact it was pretty green. The picture I provided below makes it look whiter than it actually was. I didn't like the color at all, though the plant was very healthy and the Gulf Fritillary butterflies visited it frequently. On the other hand, my mom loved this variety and wondered where she coud get some seeds. "Different strokes for different folks!"
Notice the small, yellow marigolds in the bottom of the photo - they are named Spun Lemon. I will not plant them again either, but for different reasons. They were unhealthy and the plants were diseased all year. Plus, the buds never opened enough to even be showy. I don't recommend that variety for Louisiana.

I love green flowers. Or even blue, white ...
I don't like green flowers either. What's the point? I do like white, though.
The zinia does not look green on the picture but I know many flowers that have a green hue, they are pretty. Nice picture too.
