More Full Shrub Pictures

Look how my Chicago Apache daylily is blooming away!

Here's a picture of my gardenia bush. I will be gone from home for a few days this week and may not be around to get this bush when it hits full bloom.

Belinda's Dream rose is thriving in the heat and humidity. This is an excellent rose for Louisiana. It has wonderful fragrance and hybrid tea-like blooms. You couldn't ask for a better performer. Not a sign of blackspot.

Lots of pretty blossoms at your place these days. My Belinda is coming into the second flush of bloom, you have to love her.

I answered your questions on my blog, but will repeat them here so you don't have to go back to look:

Davy, did you read what B&D said about the LO's and LA's coming to market before the different cultivars were proven?

I tried LO Triumphator TWICE. Total Failure. I tried Red Hot, which was neither red nor hot. It failed to return the next year.

I think I've mentioned how much I like OT Orania.

I think the LA Dazzle lilies I ordered last fall are not yellow, but white. I hate when they send something like that, and they came from the same vendor as the previous ones. On the plus side, the white are the hardiest lilies, guess it is the Longiflorum gene.

I've never grown Formosa lilies, but have seen them all over the county, out at the edge of people's yards where they were thrown out with the trash, and thrived. That is the one that blooms in the late summer/fall, right?

Lastly, Mama liked to grow Regal lilies. They've done well for me, too.
